Relaxation vs. Meditation
There is a lot of confusion about the difference between relaxation and meditation
Let’s look at them:
With relaxation, you are basically bringing your senses back to your body. You are becoming less aware of your surroundings, and your body and breath become heavier as your mind sinks into relaxation.
With meditation, you are more alert but still relaxed. During this time, you are actively using techniques to practice a specific state of mind.
Both of these are very important for the well-being of your body and your mind. These breaks are rejuvenating and allow your body to rest. Relaxation rests your mind, and meditation allows you to evolve your mind. And when your mind and body are fully relaxed, you can get the most out of your meditation.
